  26. You must have missed my post on the subject.  Kermit used to be delivered
  27. in a very conservative default mode, with small packets, and no sliding
  28. windows.  This yielded low performance, but performance that would work on
  29. lines where ZModem would lock up and require reboots.
  30.  
  31. Since that time, the Kermit defaults were adjusted for better speed, and
  32. became self correcting so that they still work on poor quality lines.
  33.  
  34. Chuck Forsberg stopped improving ZModem many years ago.
